I would suggest trying starting a new game on Story and seeing if it's any easier. There's a chance switching to story mode after starting the game on a higher difficulty might be bugged. And as it stands right now, I won't be able to enjoy the game at all. But I mostly want to enjoy the story, just as in the previous Darksiders games. If i wanted to play on hard difficulty I could switch to one of the two harder modes. I hope you change that stupid Story mode to something that is worth the name and description.Īnd please, spare me the replies telling me, that the game is good as it is and if it is too hard for me I should play Minecraft or something like that. So now I have a Darksouls clone that I can't even play in Story mode and paid alot of money for. Most of them compared DS3 to Darksouls, a game I really didn't ever play and didn't want to play. I read some other posts over at the steam forum and several others had the same problem. Then I thought, I'm doing something wrong while dodging, but it seems that dodging works fine too.

At first I thought something didn't work right while switching to Story mode, so I checked and well. Now whenever I try to dodge, that guy still hits me and even in Story mode, one hit from it drains almost two thirds of my whole life. After several tries and using all I got I was able to beat him too.īut now I almost die at some stupid skeletons and surely die fighting one of those lava brutes, that I already was able to beat once, and it didn't feel hard at all the first time. It took me a while to get that flame boss down, from which Fury gets here flame appearance. I could beat Envy rather easily and most of the other mobs I encountered too. I started playing DS3 in Normal difficulty and after some minutes I thought I got it. I really like the Darksiders series, so it was a no brainer for me to pre-order Darksiders III, but had I known that this game isn't anywhere near enjoyable than the first two I would never have bothered with it.
